DZOFilm Arles 40mm T1.4 FF/VV Prime Cine Lens (ARRI PL)

Cinematic, Painterly Look
The DZOFilm Arles 40mm T1.4 FF/VV Prime Cine Lens delivers stunningly sharp and natural-looking imagery for full-frame ARRI PL-mount cameras. With its wide T1.4 aperture, this lens provides exceptional low-light capabilities and captivating shallow depth of field. The 16-blade iris and sophisticated optical design enhance bokeh quality. The focus ring rotates 270°, and the iris ring rotates 77°, ensuring precise manual control.

Large-Format Coverage
Featuring a 46.5mm image circle, this lens is optimized for large-format camera sensors.

Painterly Rendering
When used at wide apertures, the lens provides a soft, lower-contrast look with a characteristic swirling bokeh.

Minimal Breathing and Aberration
The lens features floating elements to minimize breathing and aspherical elements for superior low-light performance. Its low-dispersion optical materials reduce chromatic aberration.

Interchangeable PL Mount
This lens features an ARRI PL-mount that can be switched out for a Canon EF mount (sold separately), making it versatile for various camera types.

Consistency across Series
With a 95mm outer diameter and M86 filter thread, the Arles lenses integrate easily with different matte boxes and filters. Standardized 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears across the range allow quick lens swaps.
