Vaxis Storm 800 3G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmission System
The Vaxis Storm 800 is a compact zero-latency wireless video transmitter and receiver set with up to 260 m (853 ft) line-of-sight range. It sends up to 1080p60 video with less than 1 ms of latency over the 5 GHz band, with 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs and 2-channel embedded audio.
Power either unit through its 2-pin LEMO input or micro-USB. The receiver has a V-mount battery plate and the transmitter an L-series (NP-F) plate. 20 manually selectable channels help you run several pairs on one set without interference, and you can multicast to multiple receivers. The Storm 800 also works with other Storm-series units, including the 072 PRO, 058 PRO and CINE 8 monitors. Both units have built-in antennas, LCD status screens and side-venting cooling fans.
