The Octopus II Lightweight Adapter from DZOFilm lets you use ARRI PL-mount lenses on your Super 35, full-frame or medium-format Leica L-mount camera (Panasonic, Sigma, Leica). It replaces the original DZOFilm PL to L adapter with a lighter, more ergonomic design that is quick to mount, and comes with a port cap and a detachable 1/4"-20 support foot that takes the lens weight off your camera's mount.

Compatibility

  • ARRI PL-mount lenses, including DZOFilm Arles, Arcana, VESPID, Vespid2, Catta, Pictor and Gnosis series lenses
  • L-mount cameras

Detachable base

The detachable base with 1/4"-20 threads shifts the lens weight away from the camera, decreasing the load on your camera's lens mount.

Mechanical design

Built from aluminium alloy and stainless steel, the Octopus II is a purely mechanical adapter that holds infinity focus as marked on your lens – no calibration required.
